iPhone Camera App Now Allows Audio Playback During Recording in iOS 18
Apple has introduced a new feature in iOS 18 that allows users to record video with audio playback simultaneously. This means you can now capture videos with background music or other audio playing while recording.
To enable this feature, follow these steps:
1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Navigate to the Camera section.
3. Tap on Record Sound.
4. Turn on the Allow Audio Playback toggle.
Once activated, any audio playing on your phone will be captured by the microphone and recorded in mono along with the video. However, it’s important to note that if the audio is playing through headphones, it won’t be recorded.
This new feature opens up possibilities for creative video making, allowing users to incorporate background music, narration, or other audio directly into their videos.
