Mike Tyson Shoves Screwdriver Through David Blaine’s Arm in Gruesome Stunt
David Blaine, the renowned magician, mentalist, and endurance artist known for his dangerous stunts, has once again pushed the boundaries of his craft. This time, he enlisted the help of former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in a jaw-dropping performance in Las Vegas.
Blaine invited Tyson and his son Amir onto the stage, explaining how the boxing legend had been a source of inspiration to him: “My hero growing up, Mike Tyson,” said Blaine. “I remember when I was 13 years old, 14 years old, I used to print his face on my t-shirts all the time.”
The stunt involved Tyson driving a “very sharp” screwdriver through Blaine’s arm. Tyson, initially hesitant and visibly uncomfortable, eventually drove the tool through Blaine’s bicep, with Amir assisting in feeding it through. The audience gasped and shrieked as the screwdriver emerged from Blaine’s skin.
While no blood was visible after the stunt, leaving many to believe it was an illusion, the act was undeniably intense, leaving viewers wincing at the thought of the pain Blaine might be experiencing. After the performance, Tyson commented on Blaine’s skills, saying: “Tonight was great with David Blaine, but I’ve seen him do some card tricks on the streets of New York City that will boggle your mind.”
It seems Tyson may prefer to stick to card tricks in the future, though he has no doubt of Blaine’s abilities, admitting: “You would not believe what he did. I still can’t believe he doesn’t do it anymore because it will blow your mind.”
